Let’s go and get Happy!

One of the most important components of a great vacation is where you plan to stay. Will it be a motel, hotel, a friend or families home? Luckily for me, I work for Camden. Among the many employee benefits they offer is a dedicated guest suite.  Located within a Camden property, there are over 15 different cities to choose from throughout the country, making it very convenient and affordable to travel.  Camden employees can go online and reserve the apartment home for up to 7 nights for a very minimal cost. It comes fully furnished Imageand equipped with all kitchen utensils and appliances that anyone would need. Not to mention, bedding, towels, and a flat screen TV to make you feel right at home. On our most recent vacation, my son and I stayed at the Camden Town Square right in the heart of Kissimmee, just 10 minutes from the entrance to the Disney World Parks.

As a Florida resident, we took advantage of a 3-Day Pass that was offered by Disney which would give us access to all four theme parks. Our first day was spent visiting Animal Kingdom, in which the highlight was Finding Nemo: The Musical.

It featured live vocals, colorful costumes that combined puppetry along with animatronics which brought this beloved story to life. The next day we were off to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We rode the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring AerosmithStar Tours   and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror! Image

The final day was Magic Kingdom. Walking through this park brought me back to my childhood and the vacations I took with my parents. When becoming a mother myself, I had the joy of taking my son to Disney when he was little. His reaction to seeing all of his favorite characters live was priceless.

Staying late at the parks will be rewarded by watching the Electric parade and the spectacular fireworks. By the end of our vacation, my son and I walked away with some great photos, made new memories together and had an awesome time in the “The Most Magical Place On Earth”.
