I’m sure a lot of you travel for work and/ or pleasure and since I just completed several weeks of traveling, I thought I’d share some travel etiquette.
BE PREPARED No one likes to go through the security line, but it’s a fact of life. Since we all have to do it, be sure you’re ready when you get there. Take your shoes, jacket, and belt off. Have your liquids and laptop out and ready. For more TSA regulations, click here.
WHAT’S THAT SMELL? Sometimes you are in a hurry and have to grab some food in the airport before you jump on your plane. Just make sure you don’t pick up a food with a strong smell, like a sandwich with onions or Kung Pao Chicken. It’s also helpful to pack your own snacks for the journey.
BE CONSIDERATE OF YOUR NEIGHBORS We’re all in this together, so let’s show each other some respect. If your seatmate has headphones on, understand that they don’t want to chat on the flight. Also, if you’re traveling with children, remind them that kicking the seats is a no-no.
HAPPY CREW, HAPPY TRAVELERS I’ve seen a lot of people get curt with the flight attendant and that’s not the thing to do. Treat the crew with as much respect as possible. They are here to make your travel as easy as possible, but they’re not your personal waiter/waitress.
So, pretty easy, right? Follow these rules and your arrival home at your Camden community should be far less stressful.
