Summer is quickly coming to a close and kids will be going back to school soon. There is still time to get in some summer fun! Here is my list of fun outdoor activities to do in Austin:
Enjoy Lady Bird Lake-
You are able to enjoy Lady Bird Lake without requiring a boat. Rowing Dock is a rental company conveniently situated right on Lady Bird Lake. You are able to rent: Canoes, Kayakes, Paddle Boats or a SUP from them!

Hamilton Pool Preserve is a historic swimming hole, where Hamilton Creek spills out over limestone outcroppings to create a 50 foot waterfall.

Enjoy a train ride through the Austin Hill Country. The train station is located in nearby Cedar Park. Enjoy the 66 mile round trip on the Hill Country Flyer. This train rides includes a 2 and a half hour layover in Burnet for lunch and the Burnet Gunfighters Association wild west shootout!
