It’s almost Halloween time in Houston! That means plenty of fun trick-or-treating around your community, and tons of amazing events happening around town!

Here are the ones you won’t want to miss.

  1. Boo on the Boardwalk
    Thursday, 10/9 – Saturday, 10/31

    Come enjoy a variety of different family-friendly and adult Halloween themed activities including the dungeon of doom, pumpkin decorating, live entertainment and costume contests.

  2. Zoo Boo at the Houston Zoo
    Friday 10/30 – Sunday, 11/1
    9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
    Houston Zoo
    There is no separate ticket for Zoo Boo. Zoo Boo is included in your Zoo admission ticket
    Bring your little ghouls and goblins to celebrate Halloween at the Houston Zoo with activities that are fun for the entire family. Kids are encouraged to come dressed in their spookiest or prettiest Halloween costume, and don’t forget the trick-or-treat bags!

  3. Halloween Goes Hollywood
    Friday, Oct 30, 9pm-2am
    Hughes Hangar, 2811 Washington Avenue
    General Admission Free
    Halloween 2015 is here! Hughes Hangar is proud to present the 4th Annual Pre – Halloween Bash which strikes at Midnight. Come one, come all! Halloween is the best night to attend an awesome party stop in for a night of Hollywood glam and become famous with the stars that you can’t resist to take pictures with.

  4. Halloween Fright Night in The Heights
    Saturday, October 31, 7pm-1am
    Various locations including Big Star Bar, D&T Drive Inn, Lei Low Bar, Southern Goods, Town in City Brewing Co., Johnny’s Gold Brick
    Enjoy their continuous, complimentary shuttle service that will take you from bar to bar starting at 7 p.m. with the last pickup at 1 a.m. Ghouls who complete the entire frightening tour will receive a commemorative gift they can take to the grave, or home.

  6. Dinner Detective Murder Mystery

    Tickets $64-69
    Solve a hilarious murder case while you feast on a fantastic four-course plated dinner. Just beware, the killer is hiding in the room somewhere and you may find yourself as a prime suspect.

  7. Wicked Woods Party
    Saturday, 10/31, 7:30 – 11 p.m.
    Houston Arboretum & Nature Center
    Tickets $50 member / $75 non member
    Looking for something different to do on Halloween? Enjoy a spooky good time with four delectable food stations, each paired with beer from local  different breweries. At each station, you’ll get a chance to see wildlife up close while learning something new about this magnificent creatures. Costumes are encouraged and pre-registration is required.

Living at a Camden apartment means there is always something fun going on, and since we have the best locations throughout Houston – getting to these events is super easy! Just don’t forget to grab your friends (aka neighbors) and enjoy them together.
